Saturday 10th, and Sunday 11th of October 2026
Sunday's main event is a 14km timed head race for coxed boats of all sizes that takes crews out of the Town Basin, past the wharves and superyacht bases for 7.5km, and then back past the airport, wetland sanctuary and scenic reserve to finish under the distinctive Te Matau a Pohe, all on a high tide in springtime.
Saturday features afternoon 500m sprint races, with a minimum of two races per crew in knockout-style racing.
Come along and have some fun with your crew racing in New Zealand's longest rowing race, test your skills with endurance and pace off the mark.
